On Sunday, April 26 at 7pm PDT, KVMR broadcaster and Morrison Hotel Gallery co-founder Peter Blachley presents a special edition of R-Town Radio Show. Honing in on the eponymously-titled debut album of Crosby, Stills & Nash, Blachley revisits the seminal 1969 record through the lens of interviews he's conducted with, you guessed it, David Crosby, Graham Nash and Stephen Stills. Bringing things full circle, this episode will be co-hosted by MHG founding photographer Henry Diltz and art director Gary Burden who shed light on the storied photographic sessions that gave remarkable form to folk rock future and and the iconic LP cover. From reflections on the pioneering supergroup's origins and whether it was Joni Mitchell or Mama Cass who first introduced them to what the famed musicians behind such hits as "Suite: Judy Blue Eyes" and "Marrakesh Express" are up to these days, this masterclass in classic rock agency is poised to be a welcomed reawakening of the core virtues and chord progressions that have soundtracked a beloved half-century of music history in the making.
