Chris Cornell: Remembering the Nineties Rock Legend

Morrison Hotel Gallery is proud to present this gallery of Chris Cornell portraits. In the year that has elapsed since the untimely passing of Soundgarden front man Chris Cornell, friends, fans and fellow artists alike carry the singer-songwriter’s legacy through memories and a number of tribute performances. Among the most moving of these performances came last month under the guise of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony featuring a live cover of Soundgarden’s 1994 hit “Black Hole Sun” by Alice in Chains’ Jerry Chantrell and Ann Wilson of Heart. Backing the spectacular memorializing performance, the space was filled with projections of a star-scattered night sky in addition to images from an iconic 1994 photo session of the musician as lensed by MHG’s very own Jesse Frohman. Today, we pay tribute to the late legend with a full collection of Chris Cornell photos for sale which catalogue the most rare and memorable moments captured on film from a three-decade career cut tragically short.
