Tom Petty, Photographs of A Beloved Artist

From the artist's deep Floridian roots to his storied stomping grounds in the rolling hills of Hollywood, fans throughout the nation carry the torch of the late-great Tom Petty in honor of what would otherwise be the all-American icon's 70th birthday. More than the sum of awards and karaoke classics, the lifework of Tom Petty is revered posthumously as having been central to the 1970s' reinvigoration of classic rock and the immortalization of working-class heroes everywhere.

To celebrate the occasion, Morrison Hotel Gallery not only presents a selection of career highlights as seen through the lens of renowned photographers like Jay Blakesberg, Jim Herrington and Allan Tannenbaum but also pays it forward with a special giveaway of Petty's long-awaited Wildflowers re-release.
