Morrison Hotel Gallery proudly presents this gallery full of prints of 70s punk icons, Blondie. Blondie, founded by singer Debbie Harry and guitarist Chris Stein, were known for their eclectic sound. Popular in the UK in the 1970s, the band was a pioneer of early punk when their third album Parallel Lines brought them mainstream success in America in 1978. Blondie has sold over 40 million records, performing throughout the world. After a brief break in 1981, the band reconvened to create The Hunter. By the break up of the band in 1982, they had released 6 studio albums, each being stylistically different from the last, and were known for their unique blend of stage persona with Harry's incredible vocal performances. Blondie was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2006 by Shirley Manson of Garbage, who, being a fan of Harry herself, would go on tour with Garbage and Blondie on the Rage and Rapture Tour in 2017. Shop our archives of Blondie band pictures available online and through our galleries.
