Howlin' Wolf

Morrison Hotel Gallery proudly presents our selection of Howlin' Wolf photos! Mississippi born Chester Arthur Burnett, who would later come to be known as Howlin' Wolf, was known for his unmistakable Chicago blues skills. Nominee and winner of multiple Blues Foundation Awards, thrice inducted into Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's 500 Songs that Shaped Rock and Roll list for "Spoonful", "The Red Rooster", and also 1999 Grammy Hall of Fame mention "Smokestack Lightinin'". His artistic skills would earn him a #54 spot in Rolling Stones "100 Greatest Artists of All Time" list long after his death in 1976. Howlin' Wolf's talent will continue to be a blues rock standard to new blues artists for years to come.
