After achieving international acclaim for his lensing of the rise and fall of Ziggy Stardust, photographer Mick Rock would go on to become a rock legend in his own right, eventually becoming the subject of critically acclaimed documentary SHOT! (2016). Of the over one-hundred album covers and countless iconic images that he would capture throughout a career spanning nearly five decades, few compare to those that came from the dynamic, collaborative relationship of Rock and David Bowie. With a closeness that is nothing short of captivating, Mick Rock immortalizes the late legend in some of his finest moments of understated glamour.
