Ric Ocasek of The Cars in Photographs

From a milieu of epochal hits like "Just What I Needed" and "Drive" to the the Cars' signature style, the Eighties were made all the most splendid thanks largely in part to the precision-tuned eccentricities of the imitable Ric Ocasek. A new wave vanguard whose impact on music history cannot be confined to the decade of abundance he augmented in extravagant fashion,  the stylish frontman would transcend time and tact as the formidable producer behind the band's brilliant 2011 comeback record, Move Like This, reminding music lovers everywhere that the Cars could rival major rock groups classic and contemporary alike. Though we may mourn the late-great artist's September 15th, 2019 passing, we celebrate the distinct sound and aesthetic that will long outlive him by way of these iconic images available as fine art prints from Morrison Hotel Gallery.
