    With a MA in Contemporary Art from Sotheby’s Institute of Art in New York, Matthew has been working in galleries as a consultant, selling art, and advising clients on their collections. Working with artists and photographers, Matthew is immersed in the art world, curating exhibitions while enhancing his personal collection. On days off, he can be found visiting galleries, museums, and roaming around photographing street art. The merging of music, art and photography fulfill his passions and he exudes an excitement for the life of art.

    Marcelle Murdock was born and raised in Montreal, Canada. She graduated in Photography, then moved to New York to pursue Fine Arts at the School of Visual Arts with a main focus on painting. Marcelle has been working in art galleries ever since and is now able to merge her passion for arts and music at the Morrison Hotel Gallery.

  • Julia Oxman

    Originally from Los Angeles, Julia grew up with a passion for the music that came out of Laurel Canyon during the 1960s and 70s. After meeting Henry Diltz at a young age and visiting his studio full of incredible photographs from that period, she became enamored with the Morrison Hotel Gallery and the unique intersection it provides between fine art, music, and culture. While living in LA, Julia interned with multiple contemporary art galleries, and in 2013, she moved to New York City to study art history at NYU. Among her studies, she has also had the opportunity to take photography classes which have solidified her understanding and appreciation for the art. Over the past year while completing her BA degree, Julia has been working for the gallery part-time behind the scenes, and now could not be more thrilled to be officially joining the SoHo team

    Casey has a BFA degree in printmaking and graphic design with seven years experience in art dealing with clients from all around the world. She enjoys helping her clients find the perfect photograph to add to their collection and helping new clients discover their favorite musician or actor as an art form, to start a new collection. Casey overseas the curation of the gallery and exhibitions. She is always available to help answer any questions you may have about our gallery and photographers.

    Born and raised in New Jersey, Jamie has had a passion for music and art ever since she can remember. She caught the photography bug early on from her grandfather. His enthusiasm for photography was a major influence which led her to take photography classes in New York City on the weekends and summer breaks during high school and college. Jamie has lived in Los Angeles for over 10 years where her love for all genres of art and music continues to grow. After initially working in film for the director Justin Lin, in 2010 she began working in galleries and art fairs, selling and assisting in curating shows. At the gallery, Jamie works with clients to find the perfect photographs for their collections.

    With a MA in International Communication and Development, Susan started with retail sales at the gallery and now oversees all public relations activities worldwide, assisting in corporate and institutional sales. She's been with the gallery nine years coordinating exhibition openings at the galleries and offsite special events. She manages online content, overseeing the growing archive of over 15,000 images, news and blogs. She is the person behind the Personalized Collections, so request yours and she'll make one just for you. Susan is also the founder of Rational Animal, a non-profit organization producing media to help at-risk animals in New York City and works with Morrison Hotel Gallery to create fundraisers to help the animals.

    I am from Grass Valley, Ca. I have had a passion for music and art since I was a teenager in my high school photography class and then singing at my first open mic at The Center for the Arts in Grass Valley. I became enamored with Jimi Hendrix at 14 and soon began singing Janis Joplin and Heart songs at karaoke and open mics and covering classics like California Dreamin'. I realized music was my calling and I started my path to earning my BS in Music and landed an internship with the Morrison Hotel Gallery while studying at Sierra College. I loved learning so much music history, especially during the Woodstock and Monterey Pop eras. I am excited to be joining the team and look forward to sharing my passion with fellow music and art enthusiasts.

    Paige is a musician and songwriter that draws inspiration from her love of all art forms. In 2010, she met Henry Diltz while studying at Berklee College of music, in Boston MA. Henry was doing a slideshow on "The History of Laurel Canyon", they bonded over their mutual admiration of the era's music and from that point forward, they became great friends. After graduating and a North American-cross country tour with her band, Paige moved to Los Angeles. The move West has provided opportunities for recording and working as the Social Media Director for Henry Diltz Photography. You can find Paige at our Hollywood Gallery, as well as playing around town.

    Suzie has worked with Morrison Hotel Gallery for eight years as an administrator in our West Coast business office and warehouse. Growing up in the Motor City gave her a great appreciation for music. She moved to San Diego as a young adult and had a period of interesting international travels competing and promoting the sport of grass skiing. During this time she gained a passion for shooting photography. Suzie loves the marriage of both music and photography that defines Morrison Hotel Gallery. Suzie handles order fulfillment, and liaisons with our gallery associates, photographers and clients to keep operations running smoothly, as well as general office related responsibilities.
