Bill Green

Bill Green In late 1972 fourteen-year-old Bill Green began sneaking into the legendary Academy of Music on 14th Street to snap photos of rock stars. The hand-crafted images caught the eye of promoter Howard Stein, who offered Green access in exchange for his stylized black & white images. After three years, Green had photographed every rock show that passed through New York City. Green’s life moved on and the 20,000 images were packed away, only to be discovered forty years later by the Morrison Hotel Gallery.
