Rick Edwards

Rick Edwards Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Rick Edwards played bass guitar in numerous bands in Portland, OR, including Johnny and the Distractions, The Wasted Rangers and blues legend Albert Collins.

In the mid 1980's Rick left the music business and worked as a Park Ranger in the National Park Service where he rediscovered his passion for photography.

In 1999 Rick packed his bags and moved to New York City. He worked for 5 years at The American Museum of Natural History where he directed the digital imaging of the Department of Paleontology's dinosaur collection for scientific research on the internet.

An avid music photographer, Rick has been a part of the Morrison Hotel Gallery family since 2002 and is now the web director for the gallery's site.
