David Crosby wanted Henry Diltz to photograph all his friends that played on his first album in 1971. It just so happened that those people compromised two bands, The Jefferson Airplane and The Grateful Dead.I spent the day in the middle of a circle of musician friends while they were picking, smoking, talking, and laughing. -- Henry DiltzHere's Jerry Garcia and David Crosby doing some of those things in Bolinas, California.
