The Beatles make their 12th stop, September 3, 1964, on the bands first American tour. Two shows will be performed that evening on the grounds of the Indianapolis State Fair, with a combined audience of 29,337. An impromptu photo shoot happens before the performances, at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Golf Course, to satisfy local photographers.
